Hearing impairment can affect our daily communication. One of the intervention for hearing impairment is by fitting hearing aids. In the government hospitals, patients can apply to get the hearing aids thru different funding organization such as Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA), Tabung BAntuan Perubatan (TBP) and Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM). There are a total of 39 government hospitals, 3 university hospitals and 1 military hospital with over 200 audiologists offering audiological services.
